ABSTRACT
A comparação entre três técnicas coproparasitológicas para o diagnóstico de ovos de Fasciola hepática em fezes de bovinos, testadas para o mesmo grupo de animais, demonstrou convergência de resultados nos 1439 de 37 propriedades rurais. As pequenas diferenças observadas foram estatisticamente não significativas. O estudo concluiu que as três técnicas podem ser utilizadas como rotina para o diagnóstico da fasciolose, mas sugere que em condições de campo, a técnica de Girão ou dos quatro tamises seja a indicada.
The comparison of the three coproparasitological technics for diagnosis of Fasciola hepatica eggs in cattle faeces, performed at the same groups of animais, gave highly convergent results in 1439 bovines from 67 farms. In weak difference the results were no discordant significant. The study concluded that the three technics can be used in routine procedure for the diagnosis of F. hepatica, but allow to suggest that in field situation, the Girão's technics must be indicated and used.
